Eleni: Positive Surprise Pregnancy, Slow Induction, Postpartum Anxiety and Vaginal Pressure

Eleni shares her birth story of her beautiful boy Walter “Wally”! Eleni shares her process of having a gut feeling that she was pregnant and taking a test while she was running her dog walking business. It was a very welcomed surprise by herself, her boyfriend, and their families! Pregnancy was positive overall besides one intense day of very sensitive nipples that made her cry, but otherwise a very positive experience.

She decided for an induction at 40+2 that was a slow start. She had cervadil orally to get things going but nothing happened until they broke her water. Her contractions started soon after, and Wally was born 2 days later. Her postpartum experience has been good but worked through being touched out, taking a week off from breastfeeding, to pumping and resetting within herself. She would feel anxiety here and there and felt some vaginal pressure as she recovered. Her son Wally has been a wonderful surprise and addition to her family!
